Jeremy Bulloch Has Died at 75 (VIDEO)

British actor Jeremy Bulloch, who played the legendary Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy, has died at the age of 75.

A cause of death has not been announced, although several online news outlets have stated it was due to Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his wife, three children, and a number of grandchildren.

Born in 1945 in Leicestershire, England, Bulloch had a long career in British TV and film productions. Among his more notable appearances were roles in shows including “Doctor Who” and “Robin of Sherwood.” He also appeared in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, and Octopussy.

In 1980, however, Bulloch’s life was forever changed when he played the character of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back. Fett became an instant fan favorite, and he reprised the role in Return of the Jedi.

Bulloch also played an Imperial officer in Empire, and would return to the Star Wars saga in 2005, in the role of Captain Colton in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

In 2018, Bulloch retired from the comic convention circuit, where he was a popular mainstay.

This interview with Bulloch, from Star Wars Celebration Europe in 2013, was posted on the official Star Wars YouTube account.

Our condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
